Section 48 Report 2023

We are delighted with the result of our recent December Section 48 report which is overwhelmingly positive and a wonderful reflection of our school community. Our pupils are happy and eager to learn, our staff are passionate and committed and our parents are incredibly supportive. We share this with pride! 

Please see below a few highlights:

• Leaders and governors are thorough in exercising their duty as guardians of the Catholic life and mission of the school. Their decisions around collaboration with other schools and joining the Cardinal Hume Academy Trust (CHAT) are testament to their ambition to ensure that Christ is always at the heart of the school.
• Pupils love coming to this school, feeling happy, confident and secure. 
• Teachers are confident in their subject knowledge and have a good understanding of how pupils learn.
• Pupils are eager and engaged and as a result behaviour is good throughout the school.
• The mission statement is lived by all members of the community and effectively influences decision making at all levels.
