Remembrance Day Wednesday 11th November 2020
On Wednesday 11th November at 11am, the whole school gathered in the playground to
commemorate Armistice Day, also known as Remembrance Day.
It marked the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.
We respectfully held a two-minute silence at 11am to remember the people who died in WW1 and who have died in all wars since. We used that time to reflect on the suffering many have endured during the many wars this world has seen, and we concluded with a prayer, praying for peace and end to suffering.
